Psychology Graduate? Let’s put that degree to work.

You’ve done the lectures, smashed the deadlines, and earned your degree. Now it’s time for the real-world bit

If you’re based in or around Leeds and want hands-on experience working with young people, this could be your perfect next step.

£93–£118 per day
Leeds & surrounding areas
Immediate & ongoing roles

What you’ll be doing

This isn’t your typical classroom role.

You’ll be supporting young people in Special schools, PRUs, and alternative settings—helping them re-engage, rebuild confidence, and feel understood.

Expect to:

  • Support pupils with SEMH needs or Autistic spectum conditions

  • Build trust, routines, and positive relationships

  • Help students get back into learning

  • See your psychology knowledge come to life every day

Small wins here = big impact

Why this is a great move

  • A solid stepping stone into teaching, educational and wider roles in psychology, or even mental health careers

  • Hands-on experience schools and universities actually value

  • Many roles lead to long-term or permanent positions

  • Support from a friendly, local consultant who gets it

You’ll fit right in if you’re…

  • Calm, patient, and genuinely empathetic

  • Confident building relationships with young people

  • Resilient (some days are tough—but worth it)

  • Keen to learn and get stuck in

➕ Bonus points if you’ve got:

(Not essential—just helpful!)

  • A Psychology, Criminology, or related degree

  • Experience in youth work, care, or mentoring

  • Any SEMH, SEND, or PRU exposure

  • Tutoring, coaching, or creative skills ⚽

  • Behaviour support training (or happy to learn!)

⭐ What you’ll get

  • Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella faff)

  • FREE training & CPD, including SEND and behaviour support

  • Quick, simple registration

  • Roles matched to you—no pressure into the wrong fit

  • Ongoing support from a team that actually cares

What you’ll need

  • DBS on the Update Service (or happy to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Two references

  • An up-to-date CV
