Psychology graduate teaching assistant

Are you a psychology graduate looking for work in and around the Doncaster area? Are you looking for work that will enhance your future career in psychology graduate? Are you keen to use the knowledge you have gained during your psychology degree to use support children?

Protocol Education are recruiting for Psychology graduates to work in schools across Doncaster, specifically in areas such as DN2, DN5 and DN3

Successful psychology graduates will work with children with a range of SEND , including SEMH (social, emotional, mental health). They will support children to access their learning in subjects across the curriculum, providing both academic and pastoral support.

To be considered for the position of graduate teaching assistant with psychology specialism you will will ideally be available Monday to Friday. They will be happy to work with children aged 4 -post 16, who may at times demonstrate challenging behaviour.

Positions available will include both long term (until the end of the academic year) and shorter term assignments (day to day). There may be the opportunity for roles to lead to a permanent position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
