Job description
PRU Teaching Assistants Required

Required for start in the new year in the Reigate area.

A leading special needs school in the Reigate is looking for Teaching Assistants to join its passionate team of staff. As a role within a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) School, the successful candidate would need to be resilient, comfortable with handling challenging situations, have skills with de-escalation and have a genuine passion for the development of pupils and given them the best chance to succeed in life.

The ideal candidate the school are looking for

• Good at managing challenging behaviour
• Ability to create and maintain relationships
• Hold a full UK driving licence with a vehicle is desirable due to location of the school
• Team Teach trained is desirable but not essential (CPD can be provided)
• Be available long term to allow time for relationships with the pupils to develop
