Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To ensure that our priority children are supported and that educational plans are implemented. To manage the crèche and play schemes within Street Family Children's Centre


1.To have specific responsibility for the care and development of infants (aged 6 months-5years in the crèche and 5-11years in play scheme) within CSFCC.

2.To work & liaise with the centres management in providing high quality care and education.

3.Managing and supervising all relevant staff within

4.To lead on staff planning and preparation of group and individual work, holding regular meetings and ensuring best practice is adhered to at all times.

5.To develop and maintain positive relationships with parents/carers encouraging engagement with the provision.

6.To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across CSFCC.

7.To keep up to date with new initiatives, statutory guidelines and best practice in relation to childcare development and play.

8.To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and practice specific within CSFCC.

9.To liaise with Early Year's Managers to ensure priority children's needs are met by all staff and that plans are developed and implemented.

10.To work in partnership with human resources and management to establish and maintain a team of bank staff and oversee their inductions and continued professional development.

11.Book and organise rooms to run the crèche provision and supervise staff to ensure the rooms are set up before each crèche and left the way they were found at the end of the session.

12.To attend all relevant meetings, forums, inset days and training within CSFCC.

13.To work with the SENCo to identify and support the centre's priority children.

14.To support staff with the implementation of Caf,s, IEPs and all other plans for priority children.

15.To identify and attend training to develop the post holders practice.
