Job description
Primary Teaching assistants required for 1:1 SEN support.

We are currently recruiting for teaching assistants within the Barnsley area to support students with a range of social, emotional and mental health learning disabilities.

There are several positions available both on day to day placements and on long term cover. Due to the need for high quality consistent staff, experience working within previous SEN or learning disability support roles is essential.

The successful candidate:
- Will have previous experience supporting SEN students or adults with learning disabilities.
- Will understand and adhere to all safeguarding processes.
- Must be dedicated to the educational progression of the student you are supporting.
- Want to work within a challenging but rewarding environment.

Experience in Makaton, BSL & PEC's would be a strong advantage to any candidate. If you do have any of these skills, or have any other experience which you deem to be an advantage to the position e.g. Autism awareness training, Team Teach etc, them please contact Hannah on 0114 252 1975 for a friendly informal chat about your options and what we may have available for you.
