Primary mainstream school- SEN Support / Teaching Assistants

• Based in the Barnet Borough, London
• Various Support Roles, Part-Time and Full-Time
• School Hours (8.30-3.30)

The Learning Support Assistant's (LSA) main role is to provide support for pupils with special educational needs. The LSA will ensure that the pupil can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by the other children in the class and make progress.

This position is to start after the Christmas holidays.

About The Role

• Supporting children with the day to day life of the primary school
• Supporting the student to regulate emotions, communication and engage in lessons
• Confident in supporting a child who can communicate via behaviour

Candidate specification

• The School are seeking a committed individual that has previous experience working with children
• A candidate who can be receptive and who can adapt and be resilient to different situations
• Having a committed candidate who is seeking a full time role or part time and looking to gain valuable experience whilst supporting pupils in the school
• Experience in education, social care or sports coaching children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
