Job description
Protocol Education is seeking committed, reliable, passionate teaching assistants near the Sutton area to work in a all through special needs school for the rest of the academic year. The school are offering a placement until July 2018 to which they will give the option to extend the placement further depending on performance.

The school strives to meet the diverse and individual needs of its pupils who have special education needs and disabilities. This is a primary school that provide educational support and learning for students with speech and language needs as well as autism. The school is made up of 5 class rooms across from early years to KS2 with 5-8 pupils in each class, there is a lot of support offered within the school as each class has 2-3 support staff as well as a teacher.

It is fundamental that any candidate considering this position has prior experience working with students with special educational needs. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Experienced working with children with ASD or complex needs
