Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistant to join an outstanding school located in Wandsworth to start immediately or from Sept 2022. This school are rated as outstanding with state of the art facilities, supportive leadership team and strong curriculum in place that enables students progression in a positive and rewarding way. This school caters for primary students with special needs such as autism, physical needs, speech & language difficulties and to her complex needs. As a teaching assistant you will be working in class sizes ranging from 6 - 8 students per class where you will be working collaboratively with the team and supporting students on a one to one basis. Your responsibilities will include developing speech, communication and motor skills through sensory, visual or kinaesthetic approaches. Rather than placing experience as a criteria, this school are looking for individuals who are passionate, engaging, comfortable working in a special needs environment and keen to learn and develop.
- Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 15:30
- Supporting students in small classes sizes
- Ability to work within a team
- Comfortable working with special needs
- Able to work with students on a one to one basis
- Develop motor skills, communication and social awareness
- Promoting an enjoyable and fun learning environment
- Assisting in lessons such as interactive stories, music, art and sensory play

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
