Protocol Education is one of the UK's leading providers of staffing and supply for schools and academies. We believe in providing staff and services that support the aims and aspirations of schools. The diversity and responsibilities means school face a number of challenges in recruiting, managing and training effective teachers across such a wide spectrum of roles and pupil needs, with limited and variable funding. This is where we step in, with our committed team of consultants that work hard to match schools and teachers effectively in order for schools to produce the best possible results for their pupils and ensure a school's needs are met.
We are currently looking for teaching staff who are based in the Barnsley area and looking for day to day and long term teaching work, in either Foundation Stage, KS1 and 2. Gaps between the White British and ethnic minority pupils at Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 2 have fluctuated, and therefore we are looking for enthusiastic teachers who are willing to help to narrow this gap as well as raise the aspirations of children and young people in the borough. Ideally, you should have access to your own transport and the M1 motorway and be available from Monday to Friday during term time.
We offer a guarunteed work scheme to our teaching staff in term time from September until Christmas. We ask in return that you are available exclusively to Protocol over a 5 day period and you are happy to travel up to 1 hour for work. Our aim is to keep you close and local as this will benefit both you and the schools that you go into. If you wish to enquire about our GWS, please call the primary team on 0114 252 1970.
If you wish to register with Protocol Education, please feel free to register your details on our website with an attached up to date CV and one of our team will be in touch to discuss this with you. Our dedicated team of consultants are here to offer advice and support to all of our candidates in order to help them secure regular work and also hold CPD sessions.
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
