Year 6 Teacher – Harrow

Year 6 doesn’t have to mean endless pressure and spreadsheets.

This supportive Harrow primary school is looking for a confident and engaging Year 6 Teacher who can prepare pupils for transition to secondary school while still making learning enjoyable and memorable.

The school understands the pressures of upper KS2 and has created a genuinely supportive structure around Year 6 staff. Planning support, shared resources and approachable leadership all make a real difference here.

Applications are welcomed from ECTs through to experienced M6 teachers. The school values enthusiasm, strong relationships and good classroom practice above all else.

The successful teacher will:

  • Deliver motivating and structured lessons
  • Support pupils emotionally and academically
  • Build confidence ahead of secondary transition
  • Work closely with colleagues and families
  • Create a calm, positive classroom environment

In return, you’ll receive:

  • Full-time long-term opportunity
  • Competitive pay from ECT to M6
  • Excellent support from SLT
  • Strong team culture
  • Opportunities for progression and CPD

I’ve worked with schools across Harrow for over two decades and pride myself on matching teachers with schools where they can feel supported, valued and successful.
