Job description
Protocol Education are recruiting for a passionate and experienced SENCo to join a lovely and welcoming 1-form entry primary school based in the Borough of Newham. Rated Good' with Ofsted in November 2017, they are an inspirational community school who pride themselves in challenging children to become empowered, independent, happy and creative individuals who fulfil their potential.

The school works hard to develop confident, reflective, creative learners that will grow into valued members of the community and make a positive contribution to twenty first century society. Their children are guided and supported to grow and succeed academically, emotionally and spiritually. There is a strong focus on maintaining good relationships between home and school. They encourage respect for others, good manners and tolerance.

The school are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher with QTS holding the SENCo qualification. SEN experience is essential and the school will consider an outstanding teacher working towards the SENCo qualification or wishing to do so in the future. This is a demanding and challenging role and will require someone who can hit the ground running'.

The successful candidate must have:

Qualified Teacher Status which must be recognised in UK
SENCo Qualification/working towards the qualification
SEN and Primary National Curriculum experience
Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
A proven record of improving performance
Good interpersonal skills, both oral and written
Commitment to high quality teaching and an open mind to new ways of learning
A dynamic, proactive and positive approach to each and every day
A commitment to special education and improving the lives of children and young people with disabilities
Excellent organisation skills
A reflective approach to their ongoing professional development
