Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons to primary school students
  • Implement established curriculum with no planning required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of UK primary education curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development principles
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

This role involves working on a part-time temporary basis in a primary school setting in Merton, Greater London. The teacher will be responsible for delivering lessons without the need for planning, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall educational environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
