Primary Specialist Needed | PPA Cover

Protocol Education is working closely with friendly, supportive primary schools to find a passionate and flexible Fully Qualified Teacher for Primary PPA cover on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, starting end of March.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an early-career teacher to gain experience across different year groups, support children’s learning, and make a real impact in the classroom. The Role

You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, providing high-quality PPA cover with support from experienced colleagues and teaching assistants. You’ll create a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn, maintaining strong routines and fostering positive relationships. You’ll assess progress, adapt learning to meet a variety of needs, including SEND, and work as part of a collaborative team that values wellbeing, reflection, and professional development. A Bit About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), including FQT/ECTs

• Interest in primary teaching across EYFS, KS1 & KS2

What We’ll Need to Clear You

• Passport

• Two proofs of address, such as driving licence, utility bill, council tax statement, P45 or P60

• CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained

• Two years of references, including education references

• Overseas police check if you’ve lived abroad for three months or more in the last five years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
