Job description
This exciting new role is only exclusive to Protocol Education, This is a senior post within the school’s structure which carries with it membership of the Senior Leadership Team. The postholder is accountable to the Headteacher and In addition to those professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, the postholder’s key accountability will be for raising standards of teaching, learning, attainment and achievement for pupils in regard to each of the five areas identified in Every Child Matters and in addition:

• Responsibility for leading on standards, achievement and progress as a leading teacher

• Development of a key curriculum area

• Leading on area of School Improvement Plan and evaluating within SEF

• Pupil Assessment within area

All we ask is that you hold a UK recognised qualification. We can obtain references from your previous employers and have or are able to undergo the processing of an enhanced DBS disclosure.

If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
