Job description
This Ofsted rated Good Primary School located within Birmingham to the East the city centre are looking to appoint a temporary to permanent member of staff to join their school for the coming academic year in the position of KS1 Teacher.

Located to the East of the city situated between Birmingham city centre and Solihull this Ofsted rated Good Primary School is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to a temporary to permanent position for the new academic year as a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher. The successful applicant will take on full class duties for a Year 2 Class initially on a contract through until Christmas, where there is then the possibility of a permanent post.

The schools benefit from excellent facilities with both schools being in comparatively new buildings on purpose built sites. Outside space is excellent for inner city schools with each school also having Forest School facilities on site. The school are looking to appoint Teacher's who will embrace the schools ethos and values, supporting their commitment to high standards and expectation of all staff and pupils. They have a vibrant and colourful school with interactive, tactile displays and have a creative curriculum that encourages pupil learning and exploration.

The school have comparatively low levels of EAL at younger age levels and by the time they get into the higher Key Stage 2 age groups most pupils are hitting or exceeding national targets for reading and writing. The number of pupils eligible for the pupil premium is lower than the national average as are the number of pupils classed as SEN.

These schools have a strong track record of supporting the development of teacher sand supporting and investing in their creativity and embracing new ideas and change.
