Your role will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of every learner
  • Creating a calm, safe and inclusive classroom where pupils can build confidence and succeed
  • Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning needs
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families to help pupils achieve their individual goals
  • Using creative teaching strategies to promote communication, independence and emotional wellbeing

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in a primary school
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
