Cover Teacher Opportunities – Leeds Area

We’re working with a number of primary and secondary schools across the Leeds area who are looking for reliable Cover Teachers to support on a flexible basis.

These roles are ideal if you enjoy variety — stepping into different classrooms, working with different year groups, and keeping learning on track when the regular teacher is away.

The focus is on maintaining a calm, productive classroom and delivering set work, rather than heavy planning or marking.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering lessons set by the class teacher
• Managing classroom behaviour and routines
• Supporting pupils to stay engaged with their learning
• Working across different schools and year groups

Pay & details:

• £140–£240 per day (depending on experience)
• Flexible, part-time or full-time cover work
• Schools across the Leeds area
• Day-to-day and short-term bookings available

What schools are looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
• Confident classroom presence
• Able to adapt quickly to new environments
• Reliable, calm, and professional approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
