We are urgently recruiting for an outstanding, dedicated Primary Year 5 / Year 6 Teacher with recent teaching experience, for a full-time temporary position starting April 2021, for a primary school based in the London borough of Waltham Forest. For the right candidate the role may become permanent.
The school is an outstanding primary school and anyone with a background in Performing Arts, Sports, Drama or Art would be an added bonus. The proportion of disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs is below average and the proportion of pupils from minority ethnic groups and those who speak English as an additional language is above average .The school meets the government's current floor standards which set the minimum expectations for pupils' attainment and progress in reading, writing and mathematics. This is a fantastic school to work in and they often offer well-being days for their staff
You will be responsible for teaching Upper Key Stage 2 National curriculum to year 6 students.
