Primary TA positions -Chessington

Protocol Education are looking for experienced teaching assistants that are looking for long term/permanent positions to start in September, this will require you to work with children with special needs such as autism (ASD) and severe learning difficulties (SLD) in the borough of Kingston. Although the school are recruiting for staff for the new term it is very likely that this job will continue to the end of the academic year and through to July 2022.

This is a school with students from early years all the way through to post 16 with special needs. With the new term fast approaching the school are looking to employ several new support staff with a view to make these permanent after a successful term. The school like staff that have the relevant experience but also value personality and work ethic, if you have a lack of experience but are keen to work within a special needs environment please feel free to apply.

As a specialist LSA, successful candidates will need the following experience and skills:
• Experience working within the child care sector
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children.
• Experience in personal care such as feeding and changing.
• PECS and Makaton experience
