Primary Teaching Assistant – Supply Role in Middlesbrough

Are you a passionate and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for flexible opportunities in Middlesbrough? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to support Early Years settings on a supply basis, helping young learners flourish in their foundational years.

About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the delivery of engaging and creative activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can develop essential skills.
• Work closely with the class teacher to prepare learning materials and manage classroom routines.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to children, including those with additional needs.
• Encourage social and emotional development through positive interactions and play-based learning.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an EYFS setting.
• A caring and patient approach, with a passion for early childhood education.
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
