The Role

You could be working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils in a range of primary settings.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging lessons following existing plans and schemes of work.
• Maintaining positive classroom routines and behaviour.
• Adapting activities to meet different learning needs.
• Supporting pupil engagement, progress and participation.
• Managing the classroom confidently and professionally.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Working effectively with teaching assistants and school staff.
• Adapting quickly to different schools, year groups and classroom environments.

Requirements

• UK QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent UK primary teaching experience.
• Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different schools and year groups.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Reliable, professional and committed approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
