Job description
Protocol Education are working on behalf of a large, supportive Primary School in an urban area of South Manchester, who regularly book HLTA's on a daily and long term basis. Due to an increased demand in the school, we are seeking experienced and enthusiastic HLTA's to work across all Key Stages (from EYFS-KS2.) Working hours are 8.15am-3.30pm

Typical responsibilities of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant may include:

- Leading small groups of pupils or whole classes
- Establish relationships with other professionals or agencies to support work of pupils
- Attending staff meetings and contributing to the development of the school
- Assisting teachers in offering guidance to support staff
- Preparing and developing resources for learning activities
- Reporting on the progress made by pupils

In order to apply you must have:

- A minimum Level 3 TA qualification, however HLTA status is preferred
- Experience of working within a primary school environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum within either EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- An up to date DBS on the update service, or the willingness to apply for one
- Two references within the last two years (one must be from a school)
