Primary Sports Coach

Watford, Hertfordshire

End of January start - 1 month contract to begin with

Part Time - 3 days a week 


Protocol education is looking to appoint an experienced PE Sports coach to work in one of our partner Primary schools in Watford, Hertfordshire

The ideal candidate should have experience coaching ages 4 to 11. The role requires someone who is an outstanding practitioner with experience who can lead by example that can inspire and challenge individuals to help build their confidence and relationships with others.  

The position is part time - 3 days a week. The days you will be covering will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. All planning is done, but you must organise resources etc. This will be coaching from Reception up to Year 6. 


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Sports coaching qualification or QTS/PGCE
  • Have an understanding of the UK Cirriculum 
  • Have experience within a sports coaching role
  • The ability to provide references covering the last 3 years
  • The eligibility to work in the UK
  • An enhanced child or child and adult DBS  
  • Good behaviour management is crucial
