Job description
Primary Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Harrow

Join this outstanding' special needs school in North West London and benefit from working in a multidisciplinary team and receive profound SEN training.

For this position you will need to be a passionate and progressive SEN teaching assistant who has a proactive and helpful disposition. You will ideally be a creative and committed practitioner from a special or mainstream background. Psychology or Drama Graduates are also urged to apply.

The school has a wide range of complex and profound learning difficulties including; autism, complex medical conditions, physical and mobility difficulties and severe developmental delay. Experience in these areas are preferred however an in depth induction will ensure that you are suitably prepared to work with the students.

The school can support your continuous professional development, they have accredited training programmes in place to ensure that every member of staff works with the same methods of practice.

Easily accessible school on the northern line, a short walk from Edgware Station.


We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
