Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role within a Primary School - ASD Unit -
A "GOOD" Ofsted Rated Primary School based in Morden is looking to recruit someone to work in their ASD Unit within the school. This is a small unit for children who have autism and are of Primary School age (between 3 and 11)
This school is close to local stations and is a popular school.
The leadership team are very supportive and are keen to work with individuals who are genuinely passionate to pursue a career within Primary education. This role would suit individuals who have previous special needs experience. The role will be working with verbal and non-verbal children so some experience with PECS or Makaton would be advantageous but not imperative.
The pupils are working to a good level but require continuity, so you must be committed to a full time post and at least up until the end of this academic year.
