Graduate Position - Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Nottingham
Have you recently graduated with a 2:1 or above?
Are you an aspiring teacher hoping to gain classroom experience?
A large Primary school in Nottingham is currently recruiting for two enthusiastic graduate Teaching Assistants to join them in January 2020. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant to develop their experience within education.
A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and previous experience working with children is essential. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, nursery assistance, in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting. Both Teaching Assistants will be supporting in KS1 and KS2.

This Primary school are looking for positive, dynamic graduates who are energetic and passionate about their input into a child's education. The graduate appointed will be supporting the children in their numeracy and literacy within Key Stage 1 and 2 and the Teaching Assistant's primary role will be to ensure each child is fulfilling the learning objective for each lesson. Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
This is a fantastic platform for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience in preparation for completing their teacher training the following year. This is a teacher training school meaning that successful TAs can consequently be enrolled on to the School's Direct Teacher Training Programme.
