We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Primary SEND Teacher to join our small, supportive team. You will be responsible for delivering personalised education to pupils with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and SEMH. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a fulfilling, supportive role with a smaller class size, ensuring a higher staff-to-pupil ratio to better meet the needs of each child.

Our school caters to a diverse group of pupils, all of whom have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and complex SEN. Working closely with therapy professionals, parents/carers, and local authority teams, we are committed to achieving the best outcomes for our pupils in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with complex SEN.
  • Implement trauma-informed behaviour management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with therapy professionals and other staff to support pupil development.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN, particularly autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for pupils with complex needs.

Protocol Education can offer:

  • Ongoing honest, friendly, and professional support from our dedicated team of experts
  • Payment through PAYE (no umbrella costs)
  • A £50 bonus if you introduce someone new to Protocol Education, as a thank you.
  • Accredited CPD training courses.
