Job description
Protocol Education are recruting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Behaviour and learning difficulties in an outstanding school located in Camden, London.

The Role;
This outstanding school is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to Support pupils across KS1 and KS2. You will work closely with pupils who have various disabilites and behavioural problems such as; Autisim,MLD, PMLD, Dyslexia, SLD, SEMH. You will be required to support pupils with schoolwork under the supervision of the teacher, Prepare learning resources and encourage the pupils confidence,self esteem and independence.

The right candidate would have;
-Previous experience supporting SEN children aged 4-11 in a school.
-A strong understanding of children with complex communication difficulties and learning difficulties.
-Be able to adapt quickly and identify individuals changes in behaviour.
-Be confident managing challenging behaviour and working in high pressure situations.
- Preferable but not essential; PECS, Makaton, Manual Handling Training, Team Teach experience.
