Job description
My client is a 5 form Junior School in Newham which celebrates the diverse community it serves in the heart of East London. The majority of their children live in and represent the local area which is rich in its diversity. Rated "Good" by Ofsted in March 2017

They are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-1 basis with a KS2 pupil who has visual impairment at a local primary school within the East Ham area.

Previous experience working as a teaching assistant with primary age pupils is required for this position. The chosen candidate will ideally have some experience of working with pupils who are visually impaired and be aware of the additional requirements this pupil will need, both in terms of additional resources and extra time.

The role is due to begin after February half term and will continue on a full-time basis until the summer. The school is a popular choice for local families and is often over-subscribed

If you are seeking your next position supporting pupils in a primary setting, contact me today.

If you are interested, then please contact Sat Malhi @ Protocol Education on 020 3219 7710
