SEMH Support
I'm currently working with a School in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham that support students with Social Emotional mental Health issues. The school supports and young people who have a history of trauma, display low self-esteem and low confidence.
The students in the school struggle with expressing their emotions and feelings and this is displayed with a range of challenging behaviours, such as Lashing out, verbal abuse and physical abuse.
To support the students effectively we are seeking candidates who are Consistent, resilient, firm, polite and gentle. Experience supporting challenging behaviour and trauma is highly desired and experience with confrontation and de-escalation techniques are also desired too.
If you have no experience in education but have worked within a youth/sports club environment where you are faced with the challenges of motivating this could be a great opportunity for you to continue to make a positive difference.
If any of the above requirements are relevant to you and you are seeking an opportunity, then please get in touch.
Apply now with an up-to-date CV and all successful candidates will be contacted to progress their application. If you would like to discuss this role or other potential roles call Michael Omisore on 02032197740 or email: michael.omisore@protocol-education.com
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'.
