Job description
ASD Teaching Assistant Role in Hampton

A special needs school based in Hampton are currently looking for a learning support assistant (LSA) with experience supporting students from KS1 to KS4 with Autism (ASD).This is a small school with 5 classes in total, and each class supports on average 4-6 students. The school likes there staff to work closely with the students in either small groups or 1:1 so that they are able to gain a better understanding of the needs and abilities of the students. This is a great opportunity for anyone that has previously worked with ASD students and is looking for a change of environment.

The school was rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2016 and looking ot increase in size, if you want to be part of outstanding, growing and improving school please apply.

We are looking for talented TA's and LSA's that are interested and passionate in working within the special educational needs and disabilities sector (SEND). Due to the nature of the environment it is essential that you can demonstrate a resilient and caring attitude.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Experienced working with children on the Autistic spectrum
• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting

If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
