Job description
KS1 Teacher

Protocol Education is working in partnership with a primary school situated in Leicester that requires a KS1 Teacher / Year 1 Teacher after Easter. The successful candidate will be joining a school rated 'good' by Ofsted and provides a fantastic working environment for its teachers and support staff. This role is up until the end of the academic year and is open to both experienced and newly qualified teachers.


The KS1 Teacher / Year 1 Teacher role:

•Teaching year 1 with knowledge of the EYFS to help boost children
•Able to help design interventions to the needs of the children both G & T and lower ability.
•Phonic screening and delivering RWI phonics
•Planning and delivering lessons alongside the other two class teachers

What you'll need to apply for the KS1 Teacher / Year 1 Teacher role?
•Previous experience teaching KS1 in the UK (NQTs welcome to apply)
•QTS - Achieved through a PGCE, Bachelor of Education, GTP or equivalent
•An up-to-date DBS, ideally registered with the update service
