Job description
Do you have a real love of learning and strive for children to reach their full potential? Are you ready for the challenge of joining this large primary school in the heart of Rotherham.

The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated KS2 Class Teacher to join our happy and caring school. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning and a real ambition to stretch, challenge and inspire children to academic success in all its forms. You will be an innovative practitioner and be fully supportive of the all-round ethos and strategic vision of the school.

We are particularly interested in teachers with the following:

•High expectations of teaching and learning.

•Has excellent knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.

•Someone who can motivate and challenge, with high expectations of pupil behaviour, achievement and a commitment to all pupils.

•Can demonstrate careful planning, assessment and record keeping procedures.

•Can deliver exciting learning opportunities and create a dynamic learning environment.

•Ability to work as an effective team member.

•Be able to build excellent relationships with our children, staff and parents

•Promote the social and emotional development of pupils, manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe learning environment

•Sense of humour
