Job description
You will be teaching the KS1 curriculum to a class of around 25 pupils in a primary school in Swanley. You will be promoting active independent learning that enables all pupils to think for themselves and manage their own learning. You will hold full teaching responsibilities including assessing work, writing reports and attending parent's evenings. You'll be entitled to PPA time for the planning and preparation of your lessons and must be confident following the framework of the new KS1 curriculum. You should be confident teaching clear structured lessons that maintain pace, challenge and engages primary school children.

What you'll need to succeed

You must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

You must be able to provide recent teaching references.

You should be passionate about teaching children in the Early Years setting.

You will have a positive and approachable personality with a commitment to raising attainment.

You'll be reliable, dynamic and meticulous in your approach to teaching.

You should proactively meet the needs of the wider school community while collaborating with school leaders to improve standards across the primary school.

You will have secure knowledge in your specialist area with the ability to maintain pupil interest.
