Job description
September is fast approaching. Are you looking for a new challenge in a successful and inclusive Primary school. This school in the north of the borough are looking for a Year 3 teacher to join them from September.

The school is a warm, committed and cohesive community, staff work collaboratively to provide the best education to their children, believing each child is an individual and deserves the best start in their lives.

You will have at least 2 years experience teaching in a lower key stage 2 class. although, an exceptional NQT will be considered. What is paramount, is the right attitude and commitment, This school really does have a sense of unity towards the same goal, so this must be echoed with the right candidate's own ethos.

Your role would form that of a 360 class teacher's role. You will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver a varied and engaging curriculum. You will be responsible of the development and attainment of this well behaved class. Children and their parents, are on the whole committed to learning. You are given the opportunity to teach and nor crowd control. Although, as is the case with all schools and classes, there can be one or rambunctious and lively pupils. So strong and diverse behaviour management techniques would be useful.

As would the ability to speak another language. Although the demographic of the school is varied, EAL pupils are still quite prevalent. Ideally you will have an interest in providing extra curricular opportunities and for those more experienced teachers, the opportunity to had up a department is very feasible.
