Job description
Are you an Early Years Teacher looking for a new role??

We are currently recruiting for an early year’s teacher to take a lead role in a Victorian school in Westminster, London. A lovely small Primary school just a 7 minute walk from Westminster Station with a very modern feel are looking for a full time teacher to join the school at the start of the new year until the end of the academic year with a look to take on the right teacher on a permanent basis.

A great education and perfect grammar/written English are essential for this role.

Salary depending on experience and qualifications.

This teaching position currently on offer would suit:

Fully qualified teachers (NQTs and overseas trained teachers will be considered)

Enthusiastic, flexible and creative teachers

Evidence of participation and commitment to relevant CPD.

Commitment to promote and follow the school’s policies and procedures for safeguarding and child protection.

Teachers who can provide 2 teaching referees (one of which MUST be from your most recent/current employer). Current DBS or one in process.

Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of planning, assessment, record keeping, reporting and their integral relationship within teaching and learning.

Evidence of consistently good or outstanding teaching across the curriculum.

Evidence of good or outstanding progress made by all groups of pupils and recognition of accountability in pupil achievement.

Ability to use initiative and creativity to explore and develop new strategies or ideas.

Experience of working successfully with children of all backgrounds, needs and abilities and promotion of SMSC.

Ability to work successfully, both independently and as part of a collegial staff team.

Ability to work under pressure and maintain all aspects of school life with excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to work and communicate effectively with parents, staff and governors.

A positive and supportive attitude towards our school’s Christian ethos
