Job description
I am looking for Admin Assistants to work in various schools in Tower Hamlets. As an admin assistant you will need to be able to use your initiative, be able to make decisions and adapt to any situation.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be:

Group calling parents on SIMS with notification of school closure dates, trips etc

Responsible for monitoring school gates

Recording morning and afternoon registration onto SIMS

Dealing with enquiries from parents, students, visitors and children

Typing of school documents, letters, faxing & email

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience of working with a school is desirable

Good PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) & SIMS

Excellent communication skills

English and Maths at GCSE standard or equivalent

Due to the confidential nature of this role, successful candidates must have a current DBS check

Personal Attributes:

Warm and welcoming telephone manner

Ability to work as part of a team

Must have ability to empathise and listen actively to both children's and parents needs
