Job description
A school in Hammersmith and Fulham with a good level of teaching and achievement is looking for a Year 2 Learning Support Assistant to join their team. They are a high achieving, safe and happy school. Their professional staff team care passionately about helping every child to learn, and achieve their potential.

The ideal candidate should:
•Be able to provide support to children with mathematics, reading and writing on an individual, class or small group basis
•Be able to give extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language
•Help to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials
•Motivate and encourage pupils

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:

1. You will need to supply two years of references of which at least one must be from a school setting.
2. You must have a good level of both spoken and written English

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
