Job description
Teaching Assistant Rickmansworth

Would you jump at the chance to gain some invaluable classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant in Rickmansworth?

Currently I am looking for a motivated individual who will have the opportunity to work a range of daily, short- or long-term work. With excellent transport links and parking at many of its school the borough of Hertfordshire is an excellent place to work as a supply teacher. You will get a chance to support local primary schools whether they are covering someone who is on a long-term sick, unexpected resignation or needing additional support at a busy time of year. There are many reasons why schools need cover, and this is where you step in!
We are on the lookout for a teaching assistant who is able to thrive and is able to be creative as one day you could be working in a small 1 form entry, the next a larger academy but what they all have in common is they look at their supply staff as part of the team, often inviting preferred staff back for regular cover and permanent positions.
In addition, you will benefit from a supportive consultant who genuinely cares about the candidates we work with. Honesty and integrity are at the heart of how we work, and we expect the same from our staff we work with. I will listen and consider your preferences; however, I am ideally looking for Teacher Assistant who can do a minimum of 3 days a week and are happy to work across all key stages from EYFS-KS2. Working as a Supply worker can give you the ability to choose different roles and can be a fun and flexible way of working in a job love!
We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00

If you are interested, please contact Hibaq Abdi on 01895 451 960 or email your CV to Hibaq.abdi@protocol-education.com.
