Psychology Graduates needed - SEN Teaching Assistant

Would you like to increase your experience working with SEN pupils of varying degree of ability and behaviour?
Do you have a passion for working with SEN students and looking to impact classroom standards and motivation?

What does the job consist of?

Protocol Education are looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TA's to join several of our schools within the Doncaster area. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely on a 1:1 basis supporting pupils with a variety of needs including ASD/SEMH/Global Developmental Delay. You will be keeping on top of pupil's behavioural patterns and ensuring a good standard of work is being carried out at school and is continued at home.

This presents an ideal role for Psychology graduates who are looking towards a MSc and research projects.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you must have a natural aptitude with behaviour management and interpersonal skills as well as a very enthusiastic and positive manner. You must be able to have a level of resilience, have a good sense of humour, be able to build rapport easily and will ideally have experience already to build upon.
