Job description
Are you passionate about working in education? Would you like to make a difference to students with emotional, behavioural needs and learning difficulties? If so then you will not want to miss this opportunity as we are currently seeking experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assistants to work in mainstream Primary Schools within Haringey and Enfield.

The successful candidate will have the relevant qualifications as well as experience and confidence in a classroom environment with SEN students. They must also be adaptable and able to work in a challenging setting, ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented at all times. This individual should be committed, patient, resilient and caring. They will show understanding, empathy and will have the ability to build lasting rapports that will in turn have a positive outcome in regards to motivating and developing the pupil's confidence and attainment level, enabling them to reach their full potential.

The role will include liaising with the SENCo, parents and teachers, supporting students with work set by the class teacher and helping with the behaviour management of the classroom.


APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* Although not required, ideally have relevant qualifications and training such as PECS, MAKATON.
* Must have 2 recent references for the last 5 years.
