Job description
Protocol Education are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in Rotherham. The successful candidate will start November 2016 with the duration of the position still to be determined. Taking on the HLTA role will involve working with intervention groups, covering teachers absence and working with pupils on a one to one basis.

To be successful in this role you will have strong curriculum knowledge, as there is a huge emphasis on the core subjects; literacy and numeracy. You will have high expectations of children and have a drive to encourage the development of all individual pupils. Also the chosen candidates will be organised and have the ability to lead and motivate.

The head teacher is looking for a candidate to build upon the successes of the rapidly improving creative and innovative school. The school have high expectations for behaviour management.



Protocol Education requirements:

HLTA Qualification or Degree in a relevant subject

Relevant Experience

Commitment to develop the personality, talents and abilities of all students

Confident and positive approach to working with children.

Are pro-active team members, committed to raising standards and achievement.

Keen to learn and develop professionally

Have a passion for education

A current DBS or a relevant DBS that is registered with the update service
