Job description
If you are a highly motivated and confident individual with a desire to improve and progress then this may be the job you are looking for. You will receive the best quality training and support from a head teacher that has recently been graded as 'outstanding' by Ofsted for staff support and progression. You will receive 1 day a week of full classroom control to build on your experience and expertise. The school provide a multitude of training and awareness courses tailored to progress you to the next level. Situated in the heart of Rotherham the school has excellent transport routes for easy access.

The post is for a full time higher level teaching assistant to start in Novemeber 2016. This initially would be to cover a 1 Year maternity leave but with the potential of extending to a permanent role.

The responsibilities include:

* Providing support across multiple primary classes

* Parent evenings.

* School excursions.

* Supporting the teacher to deliver the full spectrum of primary subjects.

* Participation in extra curriculum activities.

* Attending meetings and training.

The requirements include:

* Fully qualified HLTA status (level 4)

* Be able to work an average of 32.5 hours a week.

* Teach comfortably with class of 30 + mixed ability students.

* Novemeber 2016 start date with an initial end date of July 2017.
