Job description
If you are a highly motivated and confident individual with a desire to improve and progress then this may be the job you are looking for. You will receive the best quality training and support from a head teacher that has recently been graded as 'outstanding' by Ofsted for staff support and progression. You will receive 1 day a week of full classroom control to build on your experience and expertise. The school provide a multitude of training and awareness courses tailored to progress you to the next level. Situated in Rotherham the school has excellent transport routes for easy access.

The post is for a full time higher level teaching assistant to start in September 2016. This initially would be to cover a 1 Year maternity leave but with the potential of extending to a permanent role.

The responsibilities include:

* Providing support across multiple primary classes

* Parent evenings.

* School excursions.

* Supporting the teacher to deliver the full spectrum of primary subjects.

* Participation in extra curriculum activities.

* Attending meetings and training.

The requirements include:

* Fully qualified HLTA status (level 4)

* Be able to work an average of 32.5 hours a week.

* Teach comfortably with class of 30 + mixed ability students.

* September 2016 start date with an initial end date of July 2017.
