Job description
Can you make a difference in a school? Have yo experience working with challenging and special needs children? This large, lovely and inclusive school in the borough of Barnet are looking for some dynamic, effective and committed support staff to work within the school.

You will ideally have at least 1 years experience working in a primary school in a similar role. Ideally holding a degree but at least with a high proficiency in Maths and English.You will be a fluent English speaker with the skills of another language as well. A huge degree of flexibility and tact will be needed for this role as well as a genuine desire to assist.

You role will include but not be limited to:

Working on a 1:1 basis with SEN children

Providing curriculum support to the class teacher

Providing support to external agencies and providing clear feedback to parents

Fulfilling small group work in numeracy and literacy

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
