Job description
Primary School Learning Assistants

Would especially suit graduates of English, Maths and Psychology (not essential)
All areas within Surrey

Are you a recent graduate? Looking to work in education? We are currently looking for people that would like to work supporting children in primary schools, with various subjects that they are finding a challenge. All schools receive government funding to increase attainment in these areas, yet struggle to find suitable support. This could be as simple as providing language translation for pupils that speak little or no English.

Subjects include reading/writing, maths/numeracy, behavioural/emotional support and English as another language (EAL). The support could be on a 1-1 basis or include taking small groups of pupils to provide booster lessons, helping them receive additional support where required. Sometimes it could be reading with one or more children, simple but effective support.

We are approached by schools for this type of support on a regular basis, with demand increasing all the time. Registering with Protocol Education is simple, free and could end up with you in a role, with hours to suit you, very quickly. Excellent rates of pay for full or part-time roles, get in touch for more information.

All applicants must either hold an enhanced DBS certificate, or be prepared to apply for one. Please call Steve Ayling 0208 971 1296 for more details, I look forward to hearing from you!
