Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a mainstream primary school in Salford. This is a fulltime role which will commence in January 2021.

The role:
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will be covering Key Stage 2 (KS2) PPA and management time, with a wide range of ability levels. You will also be required to do interventions for English and Maths with small groups.
The school would ideally like someone who has recent experience in this role and had good behaviour management.

To be considered for the position of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you must:
• Have HLTA status or equivalent
• Have experience of primary education at Key Stage 2 (KS2) level.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary teachers and support staff.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
