Protocol Education is partnering with primary schools throughout Sunderland that are looking for confident HLTAs to provide classroom cover, deliver interventions and support teaching teams from September.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is confident working across different year groups and can travel between schools when required. Access to your own transport is highly desirable due to the location of several partner schools.

Working Pattern

• Full-time
• September start
• Monday-Friday
• 8:30am–3:30pm to 4:30pm
• Term-time only

Your role

• Covering PPA and teacher absence
• Delivering small group interventions
• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Promoting positive behaviour
• Working closely with teaching staff
• Helping raise attainment across the school

We are looking for

• Experienced HLTA or Level 4 Teaching Assistant
• Confident classroom practitioner
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Flexible and reliable approach
• Excellent classroom management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
