Full-time, Contract: £80.00 to £90.00 per day

Protocol Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic three-form-entry primary school in Redhill, Surrey.
The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will need the following;
• BA Honours Degree and proven experience as a HLTA OR holds the HLTA qualification with a proven track record of planning and delivering lessons.
• Have a minimum of a C and above in English, Science and Maths GCSE
• Strong behaviour management experience
• Has a firm but fair attitude and a great sense of humour

We are looking for people who are confident in their abilities, to deliver learning and have an impact on all pupils. As an HLTA you will be expected to take the lead on planning and delivering lessons to groups and working one to one when needed. You will need to build establishing trusting and long-lasting relationships with certain pupils to ensure consistency in their environment.

The role
• Full time
• Experience having supported students on a 1:1 basis as well as a small groups desired
• Graduates looking to start their career in the Education Sector will be considered
• You will be working to support the class teachers deliver the subjects while also managing behaviour and mentoring pupils
• Team Teach Training may be required if you do not have this training but are interested in completing this for similar roles, we are running training for Team Teach during Easter Holidays if you are interested in hearing more or being considered for our training please enquire in your initial phone interview
