Job description
Protocol Education are recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching and Support Assistant to work on a one to one role in a primary school based in Camden, with a child in Year 6 and a child in Year 3.

The role;
You will be working in a 1:1 role with a child in a year 6 class who has Down Syndrome. The child has various different needs such as; learning difficulties, speech and language delay, sensory needs, fine and gross motor difficulties.
You will also be required to work part time with a child in a Year 3 class who has development delay.

The right candidate will have;
- Be familiar with Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Team Teach trained- Positive Behaviour handling techniques.
- PECS/Visual symbol trained
- Do regular assessment of progress and attainment with the class teacher/and or SENDCO
- Able to draw up simple plans and use a visual timetable and resources.
- Team player- active participant in the class and school community.
